Sonke Gender Justice, through MenEngage Africa (MEA), is pleased to invite partners to express interest in hosting webinars in the lead-up to the MenEngage Africa SRHR Learning and Exchange Symposium (PROGRESS 2026), scheduled for August 2026 in Mombasa, Kenya.
These webinars will serve as spaces for dialogue, learning, and movement-building, geared towards the symposium’s theme: “Reclaiming Autonomy: Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Justice in the Face of Resistance.”

- Create momentum and build collective knowledge leading up to PROGRESS 2026.
- Provide partners with a platform to showcase evidence, experiences, and promising practices on SRHR and gender justice.
- Amplify voices of women, youth, persons with disabilities, and diverse SOGIESC communities.
- Foster intergenerational and cross-regional dialogue on advancing reproductive justice.

- Technical support for webinar organisation and facilitation.
- Visibility through MEA communications platforms (website, social media, newsletters).

- Propose a theme/topic aligned with the symposium’s objectives.
- Engage diverse speakers (youth, women, persons with disabilities, and grassroots actors).
- Ensure participatory and interactive facilitation.
- Document and share key insights for potential inclusion in symposium materials.

- Increased visibility and recognition: Showcase your work to a regional and global audience through MEA platforms.
- Strategic positioning: Contribute to shaping the regional agenda on SRHR and gender justice ahead of PROGRESS 2026.
